Get me on a horse, quick

My legs have been stiffening up on me lately. It is really annoying when your leg won't bend at the knee. I hope hope hope that the stiffness is the result of my forced retirement from riding and that it goes away when I start riding again.

I have problems with my knees. They get "stuck." When I ride all the time, it goes away. When I take a break it comes back. So there's hope, maybe, that you problem with yours will get better when you're back riding.

Thanks, that is what I think, too.

Hey, Matt -- you better enjoy your retirement while it lasts -- the crystal ball says you will "be working" soon -- so get ready -- no more relaxing and eating bon bons -- in other words -- no more "horsing around" -- Louie's waiting for you to show him a thing or two about those blasted letters and circles in the dressage ring....!! I'd like to be able to have Louie all to myself, but Louieis beckoning you to return to the saddle!! Don't resist! Guess who??

Hey Matt, nice to read your blog. I always miss my time away from the saddle. There are lots of things you can do though when you can't ride. You can read books (our library had great ones), watch videos on horses, visit new horse farms, groom horses, do paperwork, surf the web in search of new an interesting horse stuff, or watch other people ride. I spent about 8 months not being able to ride one year so I did all of that. I look forward to visitng your blog often!
