I couldn't ride yesterday. It is warming up but is still pretty cold and the snow is covered with a layer of ice. My dog doesn't break it. I am sure Louis would, but that would add crazy dimensions to my riding. It is hard enough to stay balanced without worrying about my horse losing his footing. I am sure Louie would not like it either. Maybe next week.

I am so sorry, that we missed our lesson , Matt, but I hope that we will be able next Saturday ....so just ride tests and patterns "in mind" until then...have a good week :)

From all reports, it's getting warmer and warmer -- Louie and Spirit were freed from blankets today so they could sunbathe, but instead it was so they could roll and get all disgustingly dirty -- What a suprise that Louie got down there first -- could it be that he found his blanket (coat??) emasculating? Spirit's blanket is a "pull-over" and it's pinkish so I think she fancies herself quite engaging to the flamboyant Mr. Louie.....he's a dashing fellow I must say -- and especially friendly when he smells apples or carrots in your pocket for safekeeping....
See you Saturday -- I heard it will be 50 and sunny!! Yes!!! Visualize that too!!
